ECAC-SIDA News
(January 24, 2006) - PrestoSports and the Eastern College
Athletic Conference Sports Information Directors Association
(ECAC-SIDA) have entered into a multi-year agreement whereby
PrestoSports will become the Official Technology Partner to
ECAC-SIDA.
At the center of the deal is the organization’s website,
www.ecac-sida.org/www.ecacsida.com. As part of the deal,
PrestoSports will redesign and host it, providing a new and
exciting look for the organization. The website is scheduled to
re-launch on Tuesday, January 24, 2006.
In addition to the site, PrestoSports and ECAC-SIDA will
continue to work together to develop new services tailored to fit
the emerging needs of the entire membership.
“Our different staff members have all had strong
relationships with ECAC-SIDA in the past, and we felt that we
needed to give something back,” stated Chris Gonzales,
Director of Sales at PrestoSports. “This deal is also about
increasing our visibility among the ECAC-SIDA membership.”
“We’re very excited about this partnership with
PrestoSports,” said Dan O’Connell, President of
ECAC-SIDA. “PrestoSports has become a leading website
provider over the last few years and we feel fortunate to have them
as our partner. We’re looking forward to a long relationship
with PrestoSports that will be mutually beneficial.”
For the last few years, Internet Consulting Services (ICS) has
been the official internet provider for ECAC-SIDA.
“We owe a lot to ICS and Jeff Rubin,” said
O’Connell. “They were the ones that got us started with
our web site and we will always be grateful for the service they
provided.”
According to O’Connell, the new web site will provide the
organization with a fresh new look and many new features.
PrestoSports, founded in 2002, is a leading provider of athletic
content management software to colleges and conference offices used
for designing, building and maintaining official athletic websites.
