Eident Sports Named Official Sports Marketing Partner of ECAC-SIDA

Providence, R.I. - Eident Sports, a full-service event management and sports company based in Providence, R.I., has been named the exclusive sports marketing partner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Sports Information Directors Association (ECAC-SIDA).

Eident Sports (www.eidentsports.com) will be responsible for developing, managing and marketing the ECAC-SIDA's sponsorship program and will be accountable for all sales efforts related to the conference's sponsorship inventory.

"The partnership with Eident Sports was a natural fit for ECAC-SIDA," said Adrienne Mullikin, President, ECAC-SIDA. "Eident's outstanding reputation for success will undoubtedly play a major role in providing another first-class workshop for our membership."

Eident is the marketing firm used by the ECAC.  The opportunity for cross marketing between the ECAC and ECAC-SIDA was one of the attractions of the agreement.

"We feel that we have progressed as an organization to the point where we it will be more beneficial to have trained professionals handle our marketing efforts, " ECAC-SIDA treasurer Roger Crosley says.  "We had been relying on one of our members to try to take care of our marketing efforts, and the task simply became too burdensome for someone to do on a part-time basis.  We applaud the efforts of our previous marketing chairs, and we thank them for bringing the organization to this point."
