Job Postings/InternshipsSaint Anselm College, an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northeast-10 Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Sports Information Intern. Candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Communications, Journalism, or related field, and undergraduate experience in intercollegiate athletics. Demonstrated knowledge of computer applications such as PageMaker, InDesign, Photoshop, HTML, web design/editing, and Stat Crew Automated Scorebook for basketball, soccer, ice hockey, baseball, and softball is essential for application to be considered. Responsible for administrative aspects for a minimum of 6-7 varsity sports under the supervision of the Director of Sports Information, and within the overall public relations effort of the college. Responsibilities include writing and editing press releases, compiling record statistics, assisting in the conceptualization, design, layout, writing and production of media guides, working as the public relations representative of the college at home and road athletic events, managing hometown release program, providing game-day coverage, filing weekly reports with conference and national offices, and updating the athletic website. The successful candidate will be able to assist the College to further its strategic goals for institution-wide diversity. A competitive salary and a meals stipend are available for this full-time, nine-month temporary position. The position runs from mid-August 2008 through mid-May 2009.
