Graduate AssistantsSAINT PETER'S COLLEGE The Saint Peter's College Sports Information Office is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Sports Information Graduate Assistant. Saint Peter's College is a private Division Iinstitution that competes in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and is located in Jersey City, NJ Responsibilities: The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Information. Duties Include: 1. Serving as the primary media contact for Women's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Baseball as well as other Olympic sports. 2. Travel with the Women's Basketball team to all road games 3. Onsite for all home games for each assigned sport. 4. Designing media guides and programs for each of assigned
sports 6. Website updating responsibilities, including daily upkeep for assigned sport Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Applicants should have a strong knowledge of sports, as well as strong organizational, verbal and written skills. Strong journalistic writing ability with knowledge of AP style guidelines is necessary. Experience and knowledge of computers, especially desktop publishing (InDesign), Stat Crew for all sports, MeetManager for track and swimming and Adobe Photoshop is essential. The ten-month position, which begins on August 1, 2008, includes tuition and fees for up to nine credits a semester in a graduate program at Saint Peter's College for up to four semesters. Saint Peter's offers Education, Business and MIS Master's Programs. It also includes a stipend of and meal money.
