Sports Information Director

Haverford College, a highly selective liberal arts college competing in the Centennial Conference (NCAA Div. III) seeks a full- time Sports Information Director.  This position reports to the Director of Athletics and carries responsibility for all aspects of a competitive Division III 23 varsity sport athletic program including but not limited to: supervising a second full time SID, preparing news and hometown feature releases, reporting results of all sports competitions to local, regional and national media, maintaining Athletic Department websites, updating statistical records and historical archives,  arranging setup and breakdown of computer equipment for collection of in-game statistics using TAS/StatCrew software, exchanging data electronically with opponents, the conference and the NCAA, recruiting and supervising student game staff and coordinating photographers, printers and head coaches to write, edit, design and publish sport brochures and game programs.  Bachelor's degree required; at least 5 years of sports information related experience and Master's degree preferred.
